The Star - Cosmic Tribe Tarot

Inspiration! Peace! Healing! The Star shines above, connecting us to Source energy. It remind us of our dreams, leads us back to our highest vibrations. In Tarot, we celebrate the Star as a harbinger of inner calm and wholeness. It symbolizes power from within, a sense of grace. The Star relates astrologically to Aquarius, the sign of having the courage to be your self. The recent New Moon in Aquarius opened up new avenues of freedom so we may begin cycles of manifestation. What old habits or stories are you releasing? What fresh perspective has imbued your consciousness? What aspect of your Self needs new expression?

Tarot is a magically helpful practice to plant the seeds of potential with illuminated insight. Let Heroic Tarot assist with your journey and make an appointment today!

Never Stop Learning

“I never teach my pupils, I only attempt to provide the conditions in which they can learn.” ~Albert Einstein

It has been over a year since I have been teaching one on one Tarot classes. I have found the experience to be incredibly gratifying and even more so when I get positive feedback like this from a current student:

I’ve been meaning to write a review for a long time now, but thought there were so many things I had to say that I would not know how to start. I guess I should start by saying that I’ve known Storm for over a year now. Back then, I was really looking for a tarot teacher and thought it would be better if I first looked for a reader, got a reading from them, and later figured out if I would have them as a teacher.

That’s what happened with Storm. I loved my first reading! He is one of the warmest people I know! And guess what? He is now my teacher. Yes! He is a tarot teacher as well! I bet you didn’t know that. He is super well-organized, he plans classes and lessons based on your needs and interests. He works FOR and WITH you.
I’m still his student and right now I can see we have grown a lot together, I’ve learnt soooo much from him! And it has always been about the subjects and things that I wanted to learn, read about, or find out.

Heroic Tarot: The Complete X-Men Tarot Series

Professor X - Ace of Diamonds

Greetings, dear reader! Welcome to my Heroic Tarot process featuring my award-winning X-Men cards!

The X-Men playing card deck is adorned with images of Marvel’s Merry Mutants.  I have created a system combining traditional Minor Arcana meaning with my vast knowledge of X-Men comic book stories.  The archetypal roles the X-Men represent bring the energy of the missing Major Arcana to the overall calculation.  I reveal the superheroic tales relevant to your path.   This dual reading is amplified by the elemental nature of whatever suit is pulled in addition to the numerological/feudal court energy contained therein.

I invite you to take a look at all of the cards featured and compare my comic-based interpretations with how they relate to traditional tarot definitions. Here they are in order:

Witches, Faeries, & Druids, Oh My!

Hi Lovely Readers!

I wanted to take a minute to let you know that I will be attending PantheaCon in San Jose this weekend.  It is my first time attending and I am super-psyched about meeting other witches, faeries, druids and the like.  I am also performing in The Living Tarot, presented by The Circle of Dionysos.  In this magickal presentation, actors embody each of the Major Arcana.  I have been asked to portray the Moon!  I am so excited about my silver and white drag and my non-verbal dance piece I have created (to the tune of Crystal Castles’ “Tell Me What To Swallow”)!   I will be taking photos all weekend and will be sure to blog about my experience once I return!

I will not be available for Heroic Tarot readings this weekend, yet you can make your appointment for the following weekend!  Call Swankety Swank at 415.932.6615 today!

Hope you are all hale and hearty!

STORM Sunday: Princess Witch Boy Debuts!

Today was most probably the best day of my existence!  I launched my first self-published comic, my memoir fantasy PRINCESS WITCH BOY at the Alternative Press Expo here in San Francisco!  So much to share about APE, Isotope, Dean Haspiel, The Mini Comic Award of Excellence, Prism, Writers Old Fashioned and so much more, but right now I’d like to send out a big ol’ shout to everyone who came out to APE, and/or attended the signing for Dean Haspiel or the APE Aftermath party at Isotope, and/or bought my comic!  You know what?  Today was the best day ever!  (Creating) Art = (Creating) Community = Joy!

Posing with Ken Kneisel with our Wuvable Oaf tees on! We’re like twins!  Wuvable Oaf is the genius comic by Ed Luce!  Yes, you heard me.  I said genius.  I meant every syllable!  And since I’m choosing to spend this Sunday on me instead of Ororo, here’s some random images of the best character I’ve ever named myself after! *laughs*

TheUncannyX-Men147-29 Doctor Doom has the hots for Storm and uh, Storm might like him, too? Huh?

And just in case you forgot:
storm fly in the face
Don’t try to fly in the face of facts alone or with friends. Or at all, really. If a mutant goddess can’t do it, what chance do you have?  So, instead of wasting time flying in the face of facts, try looking up some facts about the following people, places and things since I don’t have time to create links to all their names.  That’s right, dear reader, Google some information on Isotope Comic Book Lounge, Writers Old Fashioned, Alternative Press Expo, Dean Haspiel, Prism, and mini-comics.  Stay tuned to and I will let you know how you can order your very own copy of PRINCESS WITCH BOY! Mwah!

Photo Flashback: The Triple Goddesses of Swankety Swank

My Ex Girlfriend Dumped Me Acting Jealous c=”” alt=”” />

Angie Suki Divine, STORM & Yabette serve it up Triple Goddess style in front of the older Swankety Swank location before they leave for a Supper Club performance on January 31, 2009.  This is one of the only pictures of STORM & Yabette from that evening because before their performance, cameras and video cameras ceased to work.  There are no technological recordings of their spell.  If you click on this photo, be sure to look at it in its original super-gigantic size.  Only then will you truly appreciate the level of craft that went into these designs!

Angie Suki Divine brandishes a pirate ensemble fashioned by her own hand, STORM embodies a Yabette original that they co-designed, and Yabette is adorned in a piece she created specifically for the performance!  Photo by Alex.

Come on down to 289 Divisadero (at Haight) for handmade clothing, dolls and art (and orchids!) by local San Francisco artists and meet the amazing Yabette in person!
